St. Martin of Tours School strives to develop students who are committed to faith, service, and excellence. We work to cultivate in our students an eagerness to respond to God’s call to care for others and our world. Our service-based learning program provides students with many opportunities to hear and respond to this call. One highlight is our November Day of Service, when younger students engage in service projects at school while older students volunteer off campus at local outreach programs.
Service Day Testimonials
“Today my son went to Aiden’s place park for a field trip . He was paired with two of your fifth graders. My son attends Grand View Boulevard Elementary and he is in their special education preschool program. Your students were so kind and helpful. They were polite and gracious. I just want you to know that you should be very proud of them . Also, the parent chaperones were lovely to speak with as well. I hope your school continues helping young children feel special.” – Grand View Elementary Parent
“I am so excited to write to you to tell you about an amazing coincidence. Today, a group of some of my favorite students from Grand View Elementary School were paired with your students at Aiden’s Park. I can’t tell you how proud they made me feel to be a SMT alum. They were so kind and extremely patient with students who don’t always make things easy. The Grand View staff and parents who accompanied our students were so impressed by all of the SMT students. I think a few of our kids were plotting to ride the bus back to Brentwood with their new buddies.” – SMT Alum
